Acculite was conceived from a conversation with an owner of an accountancy practice who was constantly struggling to recruit staff. Frustrated by high recruitment costs, an ineffective agency model and limited brand presence to attract candidates, business sustainability was continuously at risk. Ironically, the same disheartening frustration was shared by candidates—equally disillusioned as they searched for genuine opportunities in the market.
Acculite was established as a strategic resourcing platform tailored exclusively to the accountancy profession, serving the needs of both firms and candidates. For firms, Acculite provides a dedicated channel to strengthen employer branding, advertise vacancies, and engage directly with prospective talent for both immediate and future requirements. For candidates, the platform offers the opportunity to enhance professional visibility, register interest in advertised roles, and follow firms of interest, enabling more targeted and meaningful career connections.
Our Founder
Our founder, Rooman Butt, brings over 25 years of finance and accounting experience, primarily within the blue-chip energy sector. Having been on both sides of the recruitment process and experienced its shortcomings firsthand—especially the long lead times—he founded Acculite as the platform he wished had existed when building his own teams: a strategic talent hub designed to meet urgent resourcing needs with speed and precision.
Rooman's vision for Acculite is to connect firms and candidates directly, reduce hiring friction, and create a long-term, brand-driven solution for accountancy resourcing.
